Champs-Elysées guide: where to eat, shop, rest, drink,…

Welcome to what is said to be the most beautiful avenue du monde. Well, it needs some inside tips to see the beauty of it.

For us Parisians, the avenue should be divided in two, with as breaking point the Rond Point des Champs Elysees. The part going from here to Concorde and Tuileries needs not much guidance, however, the other half up to the Arc de Triomphe can be one big tourist trap. But lucky you, you have this list. And double lucky you, I have been living in this area for over 20 years so I am like part of the furniture…

I have written the list starting at the Arc de Triomphe till the Place de la Concorde or, like a Parisian would say, from the Publicis Drugstore to the Crillon Hotel:). Just set up your own itinerary among the restaurants, shops, parks, barbershop or cocktail bars you can find on my list of 26 highly Parisian places.

Please note that this is not the cheapest area of Paris and that life doesn’t start before 11h here (hmmm could this possibly be related?).

Enjoy your visit and I can’t wait to see your pictures, comments and questions through social media on instagram or facebook! Your input means the world, or at least Paris, to me.

Many lists will follow shortly: Le Marais, where to shop in Paris, a romantic weekend in Paris, Breguet-Sabin the new Paris and more. Just share your email address and I will keep you posted. Or follow me on instagram.

With love from the most beautiful city ever,
