While writing a press article about the best hotel bars in Paris I decided to try this address in Montmartre which had been recommended by so many friends recently.
Always thought it was a tourist-only place and I openly admit I was wrong. On the 7th floor, I discovered a nice, modern designed place and I was welcomed by a very friendly team. The restaurant has big windows which make the food compete with a breathtaking view of Paris. The view wins but the food is nice. But I particularly loved the cocktails…Don’t be disappointed if you think the bar is the one in the restaurant itself since the action takes place outside on the terrace. Great cocktails prepared by real experts. Heaters and blankets are available if you need them. So after dinner at the Defense side of the restaurant (sunset!), I suggest testing the Moulin Rouge-cocktail which I loved. Before leaving for a stroll in the Rue Lepic and other romantic streets of Montmartre right around the corner: make a picture in the Harcourt-photobooth and check out the very Parisian t-shirts you can buy in the lobby.
